Well, my Kindle Voyage was jailbroken and I was enjoying all the benefits of having it that way and I left it in my backpack over the last month. In that time, not being used, it auto updated itself to the latest firmware 5.8.10. I only noticed this because my custom wallpaper was gone and it was back on the default.
My jailbreak did not survive this update. KUAL now opens with "Application Error - The selected application could not be started. Please try again."
I'm not sure what happened, why, or how, but I'm no longer jailbroken. :-(
