Not working: I mean it seems to have absolutely no effect. The screen doesn't seem to flash, it doesn't restart and the tar.gz file remains where i put it. So, in Kindle (F  I have:

I tried installing the hotfix, wanting to check if maybe it worked without me realizing it, but it says update error (invalid file or something, I can try again if needed).
Is that what you are looking for from the logs?

It did call the script, but that script did not return any status value.
(only the first line of those messages applies to your trying the searchbar command).
