not sure if you still need this info, but I put my Kobo Aura in an Ebay-bought Kobo Aura 2 cover (the model is similar to
this, not sure about the official ones). The modification I did were making holes for the micro-usb port and the light button. There is an unused hole where the power button ought to be in Aura 2, but overall it works well.
