And what makes you think you have "lost the jailbreak" ?
The jailbreak has nothing to do with running applications, it only allows you to install our update_*.bin format packages.

What your problem is, see current jail break, first post:

Do as Cinisajoy above posted, in the order she posted them.

Since you have an 8th generation device, you have to use the booklet form of KUAL.
Which is in an update_*.bin name format package.

Since you can't run MrPI from KUAL (not when KUAL will not run), you have to use the searchbar command to trigger MrPI:
;log mrpi
after you put the KUAL booklet update file in /mrpackages.
