I know where you are coming from. I saw that same article.
Perhaps you don't know this but most of our beef is not hormone injected. The idea didn't go over here Paul. The media did go wild with it.
One company did that. They sell very little beef. We do read labels.
As far as the bleach laden chickens, they spray a light amount of human safe disinfectant on the chickens before packaging.
Some truth mostly hype.

Oh but it is okay to feed your children horsemeat?
I actually saw that on a news article yesterday. You may not know what meat is being served in schools. There was horsemeat served to school children in Britain.

I did more research and discovered it actually happened in 2013 and was a limited incident.


On food safety standards, I think both our countries vary by the type of food and where we can import from. Not saying better or worse, just different.

Oh and you do know our french fries (your chips) are not all like McDonalds fries.
