I've listened to Little Deaths. It is a fictionalized version of the Alice Crimmins case, which was major tabloid fodder back in the sixties--two cutie-pie children vanished from their beds and later found murdered, a mother of questionable morals. Because of what I knew about the Crimmins case, I had eagerly looked forward to Little Deaths and had sky-high expectations, which the book didn't meet. I would recommend this book if you've never heard of Alice Crimmins and/or have no preconceived notions about her and the murders; otherwise it may be a bit of a letdown.
