Yes, the Vox is Android 2.3.4. I installed Overdrive years ago as required by my public library. It's version 2.6.6 and works. It also has never automatically updated. Do a search to download 2.6.6.

Be careful with the Vox and don't allow automatic updates to apps because a lot of newer versions need more power and will crash.
