Just how much metadata are you trying to delete and why? If you are the author/creator of the work, why did you add it in the first place? If you are not the author, why are you deleting information from a book that can be potentially useful to readers and that takes up so little space in a compressed epub (.zip)? Why bother?

The problem is a button like that could remove metadata added specifically to target kindles, or other devices, but we have no way of knowing the intended meaning and target.

So no ... a button like that won't be added either.
