Thank you for your quick reply. So I have to do the OTA update or download a new firmware from the amazon servers? The hack worked with the model's initial factory firmware .. thats why I thought the problem would be something else. OK I will then start the update. Thx
<edit/update> the problem seems to remain the same. I successfully updated with "update_kindle_all_new_paperwhite_5.8.7.0.1.bi n" to 5.8.7.0.1 and reinstalled the python script and the SS Hack with MRPI ... the installtion went through but after the reboot its all the same. Standard screensavers no 'Hi, I'm the screensavers hack' screen
