You mean you don't adore in-line styles?
I've seen 3 ebooks with the same craptastic formatting. All 3 were Phoenix Pick/ArcManor freebies. As mentioned in this thread, the .mobi version was a lot cleaner and converting it to epub was a giant step to having a cleanly formatted epub. Saved me from sending Code of the Lifemaker by James P. Hogan to the recycle bin which I was very tempted to do, since to my eyes, the effects of the jitter from the styling made the .epub hard to read.
Ghod knows, I've dealt with weird formatting produced by Vellum and InDesign to mention two programs that love impossible to read stylesheets but at least they have stylesheets.
Hmmm... I think this is the 3rd time I've agreed with Jon on formatting.
