- the difference between books and collections in the list view is less pronounced,
- more taps needed to change page orientation, which I do quite frequently, an additional tap to change the margins
- the names "All" and "Downloaded" are less intuitive than "Cloud" and "On device",
- the list view seems more cluttered, and the are huge "ok" signs marking downloaded books, progress shown in dots is harder to read (probably because they forced the user to see the percentages ;P),
- I liked the old icons better (having two icons smaller and captioned is against basic rules of well-balanced design. A search field in which works like a big button, and not an actual field where you input text, drives me crazy

- plus little things, like the location/size of various buttons, which partly is an improvement, and partly is less convenient.
Yeah, I know, those are little things, in many cases matters of personal taste or habit, or just not all that relevant, but I hate being forced to those changes, and not being able to have a say about what the interface of my device looks like. I hate Amazon's policy on this.
