CORRECTION:
It appears as if I was wrong on this since, as you point out, they appear to be periodic episodes collected into a 'Volume 1', rather than as 5 separate novels.
RANT:
I get rather PO'd with authors who masquerade their slim little volumes as 'novels. To reiterate, however, the above does not appear to be the case.
