A couple of questions. Do you have Automatically sleep and wake up enabled in Settings under Energy Saving and privacy? Have you tested with a magnet to see if it will trigger sleep? I've seen too many third party "sleep covers" that did not have the required magnet or the magnet was not in the right position to trigger sleep mode.
