Love this series!! Totally caught me by surprise, and I fell in love with it.

Meanwhile, finished Bone of Contention, the third of the Madelene la Batard series from Cynthia Harrod-Eagles. Quite fun, and superbly narrated by Nadia May (real name, Wanda McCaddon.) I've been primarily listening to these because Ms. McCaddon is arguably the best female narrator of audio books, and without argument, my personal favourite. Unfortunately, the 4th (and final) book is a different narrator.

So, to take a break from that, I read the new Imager book from L.E. Modesitt, Jr., Assassin's Price. Less Imager, more Rex Regis. And set before the original trilogy, but well after founding trilogy. A good addition to the series.
