My reasoning: this ship is specifically named after a person, the company's president and chairman of the board, a different case from a generic Jack in a deck of cards which happens to accidentally be a person's name.

Bearing in mind that I don't make the rules or provide official interpretations, but this strikes me as being similar to "Jim and Jack and Hank" song entry that was disallowed. Jim and Jack weren't allowed because they referred to whiskey brands and not directly to people, even though the brands were named for real people -- "James B. Beam" and "Jack Daniel" respectively.
But, as I said, I'm not in a position of authority. If it turns out to be legal I have a few additional songs I can play!
