It gets even more laughable - their email to me contained a link to their "Support Site" :

This link gets redirected to the main Kobo front page. I wrote back to them to point this out in the hope that they would either give me a correct link or explain how to "access the question".

Their reply was simply a repeat of what they had said before about being sent to their development team and contained the same broken links.

I get the feeling that they are using a robot, and not a particularly well-programmed one. This stuff does not pass the Turing test.

I now await a reply to my latest that points out that they didn't answer my last email. Let's see what it takes to get the attention of a person who understands English.
