I think your Dad would enjoy the Voyage and over time, may actually like the touchscreen part. However, if cost is an issue, I'd just get one from Ebay. As my Mom gets older, it seems her finger touches don't work as well on the Paperwhite as they did a year ago. I'm even considering replacing her Paperwhite with a Voyage as well - I think it will be less frustrating for her. The layout is otherwise similar.
