The devices in question are DXG models.
Do not assume that the series 2.x firmware provides the same features as the series 5.x firmware.

Besides the DX(G) (and its small screen version, the K2) are all 3G only.
The 3G protocol provides current date/time information.

I do not recall if the series 2.x firmware includes the set date/time searchbar command.
I am pretty sure it is not provided by the GUI.
(Which is why I wrote the set date/time add-in.)
