Hi Mariaclaudia,

I had this problem when I updated Calibre Portable yesterday. I went from version 2.79.1 to 3.5 which meant that I had a lot of plug-ins to update. During the process of the plug-in updates this error message started showing.

After the all of the updates were done. I reinstalled the Calibre Portable 3.5.0 on top of the first Calibre Portable 3.5.0 update and the error went away.

I don't know if this will work with the regular Calibre program. But, you might try it. Or, uninstall 3.5.0 and reinstall it again.

Good Luck, Ron
