EDIT: confirmed, the specs sheet for the "E-Ink Carta Imaging Film" states «10 million switches». (It also says "or five years" - I hope that the communication team was drunk, otherwise I cannot understand what it means, they made it sound like it expires like yoghurt).

So would say it'd make sense for somebody who plans on using it as a monitor quite often ?
