Both devices can still be jailbroken via the serial port.
BUT
If the device is listed in this table as "unsupported" :
https://wiki.mobileread.com/wiki/Kindle_Serial_Numbers
then jailbreaking it will not do you any good, because none of our 'update_*.bin' name format packages will install on your device.
Which is what we mean by: "Unsupported".

Until that situation changes (KindleTool must be updated), the seven devices listed as 'unsupported' will remain unsupported here.
