[Feature Request] Export bookmarks #294 from 2015, not yet. The reason why this hasn't been done seems like a case of over-engineering to me. All people want is the ability to export, yet the software gurus are all hung up on importing the exported data. It's pretty clear from the posts that they had the ability to export to XML within days.
FBReader supports plugins, and it's open source, so if someone was sufficiently motivated they could just do this themselves. I do any heavy notetaking on my PC using Calibre with epubs or for really serious non-fiction stuff Adobe Reader with PDFs. I just use my Fire to strictly read. While I could probably write such a plugin, I'm not motivated enough to try

One thing you could do, would be to add a response to the issue saying all you want is the ability to export, and ask why can't that be done.
