I find the stored data quite useful; for me, its utility outweighs any perceived loss of privacy or control, but obviously that's up to the individual.

But I don't want to store info in the cloud; I want to store it in the device for some number of days/weeks with the option to then download to my computer. I basically want a relatively simple pedometer in bracelet form. I don't want to pay for all the features I dislike and won't want to use.
I am not at all a cloud person. I don't have anything stored in the cloud except what Amazon automatically puts there.
