I am a long time lurker and I know you guys are very knowledgeable on all things ebook so I thought I'd ask here instead of elsewhere.
I have Calibre 3.4 and the search doesn't work the way it did. I am really technologically challenged (for the record
) and I only ever performed simple search (as that is the only thing I need) - I would type the name of the author or the title of the book (in parenthesis) and I would get a list/group of results. Now, I don't get anything at all or I get a highlighted book here or there, not a group of results or no results. I can't (don't want to
) go through 8,000+ books to find a couple of results.
I think this happened with the latest update or maybe one or two before that. That'll teach me not to update every single time.
I understand that Calibre has many wonderful search and sort capabilities, but I don't need them, I just want my simple search back
