How much does eReader output setting matter in .MOBI
I convert EPUB into MOBI for use on a 6-inch Kindle.
I used to convert for my Kindle 3 Graphite, which had a resolution of about 800x600.
However, I have been more recently converting for my Kindle Paperwhite 2, which is about 1024x768 in resolution.
The settings I have been using for output are mainly pegged toward the Kindle 3, rather than the Paperwhite 2.
What difference, if any, does it make if I optimize the final .MOBI for Kindle 3 instead of Paperwhite 2, when reading on my Paperwhite 2?
Does it just make the cover smaller (fitted for 800x600), or how much impact does it have on text formatting?
