I have a PDF book that I updated metadata with Caibre but the cover and description don't show. The converted copy (pdf to epub) does show cover and description.

As for the PDF cover and metadata, I am still working on it. There are currently no libraries written for it in Go, so I need to write my own parser for PDFs, which will take some time.
