It is pretty unfortunate that the MaxCarta does not have a OpenGL ES.
In fact, the i.MX6SoloLite is a pretty bare processor. For the price range, it would have been preferable to have it equipped with something better (EDIT: although, to understand the situation fairly, Booxtor wrote... «Concerning price. A couple of months ago [early 2016] the wholesale price of the screen (Mobius) alone was by USD650! We are working with minimal margins to keep project alive. What could we do more?»). We shall place hope on the Max II.

Instead, the i.MX6Solo and the i.MX6DualLite with the "Integrated EPD controller" also offer "3D graphics" (see the i.MX6 comparison).

So, we have to understand that the C67ML uses a i.MX6Solo, and that the forthcoming C67ML Carta will use the i.MX6DualLite (it will be dual core)?
