Windows 10 allows me to connect to my phone only uisng a "Direct Connection" , nad it does this over Bluetooth. I see the phone under Devices and PRinters when conected using this method. However it still doesnt show under "Network".
CC still does not connect.
I would expect this, as Bluetooth has nothing to do with whats going on here.
(or NOT going on here).
Lastly, file and print sharing are on, network discovery is on, Windows is allowed to manage homegroup settings, enabled file sharing for devices that use 40 or 56-bit encryption, anyone can read/write public folders.
So once again I fell like I'm making my computer vulnerable by opening up all these settings, but they still don't work! What on earth is going on?
This is undoubtedly a Windows 10 thing....Microsoft is the giant evil here, I'm certain of it. We just have to figure out what Bhudda's belly I need to rub here.
