What fictional group should be on a space show?

Mixed premise department: Which person or group from existing TV shows, literature, movies, comic books, etc, would you like to see in a new TV series wherein they are out adventuring in space (and assuming they are not already, okay)? Can be serious or humorous, on a planet or travelling by starship, whatever.

On the serious side, I'd love to see the cast of Lost stuck on a starship, out of their control, trying to figure it out and get home (Lost... in Space! Har!)

On the humorous side, I'd love to see Home Improvement's cast flying a starship/broadcast studio, and watch Tim Taylor in his attempts to soup up the ship and improve its functions. ("Gee, Tim, I don't think a laser-guided microwave is a good idea..." "Nonsense, Al... watch this!" Bzzt! Schlorp! "Aargh!")
