That's a good point.

I've never had a failure with that recipe, and I make hard-boiled eggs weekly. I use a metal trivet like the one that comes with the Instant Pot. The 15-minute natural pressure release is very important. It gives the eggs extra time to cook in the closed pot. If you open it too soon, the eggs will be runny.
