Yup yup, that's the one I'm questioning.
The poweroff view is a qt web view which (I'm assuming) isn't hardware accelerated. So I find it hard to believe that loading a 16.6kb (1404x1872, all white jpg) image without scaling is slower than loading a 44.1kb (503x671 gray scale picture) that needs to be scaled just over 275%. Now to be fair I don't know the internals or the build but it sure seems like there may be something else going on.
(To clarify the 1404x1872 all white image fails to load but the other 503x671 image works fine.)
