Barbara--If you read my message, I believe what you are saying is what I pointed out. If you are reading KePubs, you have the choice between pages in chapter or pages in book. If you choose "pages in chapter" it actually displays the number of screens that will change when you adjust the font/margin/line spacing settings. If you choose "pages in book" it uses the Adobe page numbering system which doesn't change with adjustments to the font/margin/line spacing settings.

If you transfer ePub books to your Kobo, the only page numbering system available is the Adobe system.

I also mentioned in my original post that I like the KePub screen count for chapters better than the Kindle "minutes left in chapter" that I have on my Voyage.
