If your Kindle when it arrives is running a firmware version 5.7.anything, you can install the 'update blocker' directory name described in Step #7 to keep it from updating to something that can't be jailbroken (later).

I had also read some threads about kpw3 32g, so that means i don't need to do this because someone had already made it in order to contribute the firmware file or something else, but not jet jailbreak it?
So the current progress is:
1. if it is running 5.7.x, install the update blocker and wait for the jailbreak firmware
2. also wait for the maintainer of KindleTool's update
3. if it is 5.8.x, no hope unless using serial port jailbreak
Is my understanding right?
