Are they still accepting returns for any reason? If so, you have nothing to lose other than some available credit. Order one and check the firmware level before allowing an internet connection. If the FW is OK, install the blocking directory to prevent an upgrade prior to JB of the unit. If you can't JB the FW level you receive, return it for a refund with your choice of excuses.
