I always find some worthwhile deals around Black Friday, but Prime days have been a complete bust for me. Aside maybe from Amazon devices, I never see anything that I haven't seen before at a lower price as a regular daily deal. At best, Prime day amounts to maybe 2 weeks' worth of regular daily deals packed into one day.

OTOH though, Best Buy and Walmart sometimes compete with deals that are actually worthwhile...

Edit> Oops - I have to eat my words - I bought the Seagate 8TB "Hub" USB drive for $161 - not a sensational deal but better than I expected to find, unless they're discontinuing it or something...
