I try to keep my house 10 to 20 degrees cooler than outside. There is no way I could get to 31 degrees cooler than outside.
Just checked outside 95 inside 81.
Like you, I tend to leave the tv off during the day. I also use my small appliances more than the stove during the summer. (Not that it helps the gas bill much since the customer charge is $16.50. Then add another $2 in other fees. Total bill this month was 27.44 last month was 23. (Vacation made a difference since our water heater is also gas.)
