What I do is go to the Deals page several hours before the event starts, select Lightning Deals, select the category or categories I'm interested in, then browse through all the pages looking for upcoming deals. If I find one I click the Watch This Item button. That way you can go to your watched items page and watch them, but more importantly, you will get notified when the deal is about to start to help you remember.

During the event they will constantly be adding new stuff, but they seem to add it at the back end. In other words, if your category of Lightning Deals has 37 pages of deals, new deals will be added to page 37, then 38, etc. So after I make my initial run through all the pages, I bookmark the last page. Then every couple of hours or so I'll use that bookmark to go to the last page I saw. Then I browse through all the new pages and update my bookmark for the newest last page. That saves time, plus I don't have to remember where I last was.
