I tried several times to obtain the new feature as shown above. I installed Calibre twice (Linux 64 bits - ArchLinux) with your custom command line for Linux, reinstalled Python 3.6.1.1. and performed several tries on Epub.

Selecting with the Ctrl key a group of eight saved searches (regex mode), all targeting "all texts", I still got this kind of report (screenshot). I had previously obtained the same global count using "count all".

"Les recherches sélectionnées" means "selected searches". I also attach the group of regex I used. It inserts nnbsp in a French text provided there exist already nbsp in the original text.
