This reminded me of an Indy author who dropped in on the Kindle chat forum on Amazon, about 3 years ago. He had written a novel (150 page story) that he was sure would be a big seller. Her had even run the numbers proving he could easily make $1,000 a week, as long as he sold 1,000 copies every 2 weeks.

There was no convincing him that his goal was unrealistic. If I remember correctly, the thread was on the lengthy side, with him defending his work, and actual users trying to convince him he was living in a dream world.

I had his name on a note somewhere, and last time I looked him up, he still has no reviews on his "novel."
