The search function will find you the post that describes how to do it. It was posted by ixtab IIRC, that should narrow your search.
The cliff's note version:
1) Touch: "(factory) Reset"
2) Install an Amazon update file.
Those two steps MUST be done in that specific order.
Do "#1" before doing "#2".

. In the post your referred to, there was mention of some kind of "rescue pack", is this the file that keeps the jailbreak intact through updates, or was it not used in your tutorial at all?(because the post is from 2012)
