Removing the jail break has never before been required to make a warranty claim.
At least no one has reported here in the past decade that they had a warranty claim refused because of one extra, 270 byte, file.

But yes, it is possible to remove it.
People who visit this forum seem to do it every day, without intending to.

The search function will find you the post that describes how to do it. It was posted by ixtab IIRC, that should narrow your search.

The cliff's note version:
1) Touch: "(factory) Reset"
2) Install an Amazon update file.
Those two steps MUST be done in that specific order.
Do "#1" before doing "#2".
