It's just my opinion, fwiw, but I think it's a serious mistake to diagnose medical issues of a poster to an online forum, even if only *suggesting* the *possibility* of a disorder. It could cause unnecessary anxiety. Fortunately, Katie (she'll always be Katie to me) had incontrovertible proof that your suspicions were groundless, otherwise since she is a worrier, she might now be needlessly anguished and scheduling an unnecessary doctor appointment.
Knowing how old she is, if she hadn't been to the eye doctor in the last few years, it probably wouldn't be unnecessary.
Note: that is good advice for anyone over the age of about 50.
