It Might work for you - doesn't for me!! (I assume that between 3 and 4 above you have gone into the metadata panel).

EDIT: now that's really weird. I tried another Android device (v5 as opposed to v4.4) and it worked just as you said. Well, it seems it's my problem but as to why I cannot hazard a guess........

DOUBLE-EDIT. Inspired guess this one, but might just help others. Turns out the problem comes if you don't get out of MoonReader completely (just shut it down, not disable it!!).
Close Moon and all behaves just as it was intended to . . . .
