@jeffdonnelly - KG is under a lot of self-induced pressure, so you should cut him a bit of slack.

Anyway, he has tried to fix it in 3.2 ==>> see Bug #1701399. Note it's more of an edge case than I thought. Also see 3.2. Release notes ==>>
