I doubt that Calibre will ever offer .mobi output. I know Kovid doesn't care to do it.

There are public library books that are available in something other than ADE.

Sure, but then you have to get a Sony Visa, which I most certainly do not want. About the last thing I need is some company pushing yet another credit card on me. No thank you .... really, a big no thank you on that one.
