That's odd because I have a Japanese epub which is about 21 mb. Although I could read it on my KA1, I couldn't select any words to look up in any dictionary.

So I converted it to a kepub and it lists it as being just 11 mb in size and everything works fine.

(It was originally a kepub I bought frodm Kobo which I then stripped the drm from when I converted it to a epub. I used Calibre to convert it back to a kepub and sideloaded it onto my KA as I don't like syncing with the Kobo site or desktop app.)

Not sure why the substantial difference in size, but so long as it works, I am happy.
