Calibre's conversion to .mobi is suddenly being rejected by Amazon document service

About a month ago Amazon stopped accepting my converted .mobi files for their personal document service. (Prior to when I upgraded to 3.0, but it's still happening now). At first I thought it was Amazon, but I worked with them and nothing worked. Then, I got the idea to get .mobi files that I did NOT convert myself...and they slide through just fine. This means something I changed in my setup causes my .mobi's to be unpalatable to Amazon. For the life of me I cannot think what setting I changed that might be. I've tried changing the tag from PDOC to EBOK and back...nothing. Any ideas? Thanks. This is driving me nuts.
