You want my Kobo Utilities plugin. It can pull the reading status from the Kobo devices when you connect the device and store it in the library. And if you want you can use the plugin to set the status.

For Goodreads, you can use the Goodreads Sync plugin to send or fetch status. And it integrates with the Kobo Utilities plugin to send the percent read to Goodreads.
