That supports my suspicion that Actual Tools Window Manager (multiple monitors, virtual desktops etc) plays a role in my similar intermittent problem.

@CRussel - my suggestion to try running with no plugins and safe mode was for diagnostic purposes only.

Added : GUIPropView has a Center selected window option
