@mpuech - when you update metadata and/or cover the format files are NOT updated.

If you use Send to Device, or Save to Disk the copy of the format file sent or saved (e.g. the EPUB) will contain the current metadata and cover.

If you want to update the EPUB in the library with the current metadata and cover, the simplest way is to use the Polir des livres tool (press 'P', or add to toolbar).
